Palms to Pines 2024
November 22 - 24
The annual Porsche 356 Club of Southern California "desert to mountain to desert" adventure is back for its 34th year! Join us for a weekend of Porsches, food and fun. As always, the event is open to all (Club members and non-members) and all vehicles. Sign up below and stay tuned for additional details.
Friday (11/22)- All are welcome on a group drive from points around the state up into the mountains to Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear - stop for a self catered lunch - and then down into Redlands and then out to Palm Springs (perhaps a stop at Hadley's for a famous date shake!). If the roads to Big Bear are not yet reopened - we will have an alternate route (most likely to Julian).
Saturday (11/23) - We start the morning with cars and coffee at the Palm Mountain Resort and then head off to our starting point in Banning for the annual mountain road drive up Highway 243 to historic Idyllwild. The road from Palm Springs to Idyllwild is a scenic, winding climb, with over 5000 feet of elevation gain. No car will be left behind - we have a leader and sweeper to make sure everyone can enjoy the drive without worry. Once in Idyllwild, enjoy a self catered lunch at any one of the great eateries in town before we descend down the backside of the mountain (highway 74) and return to Palm Springs.
Saturday Evening - private party at Porsche Palm Springs. Celebrate our favorite brand with food and drink in the beautiful Porsche dealership - which will be filled up with 356s!
The final agenda will be forwarded by email as the event draws closer, and it will include designated locations, directions and drive meeting times.
Although there is no official "host hotel," this year, we recommend:
Palm Mountain Resort
Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs
Renaissance Marriott Palm Springs
Please register below - and note that shirts and other items are available through pre-order only.
Note - this event has limited capacity and will likely sell out fast!
Please contact us at contact @ 356club.org if you have questions.
And a big thank you to Porsche Palm Springs for their generous support of the 356 Club of Southern California and this event.
